HP hat heute zahlreiche neue Digitalkameras vorgestellt und damit seine Produktpalette großräumig erweitert. Im Einsteigersegment startet HP mit der Photosmart E327, eine 5 Megapixel Kamera mit 1.7 Zoll Display. Sie bietet nur die rudimentären Funktionen und soll ab März verfügbar sein. Ein Preis ist bisher nicht bekannt.
In Qualität und Funktionsumfang deutlich höher anzusiedeln ist die Photosmart M425. Auch hier findet sich ein 5 Megapixel Sensor sowie ein 1.7 Zoll Display, allerdings bietet die Optik der Photosmark M425 zumindest einen 3fachen optischen Zoom. Auch hier ist der Preis noch unbekannt, erscheinen soll die Kamera im April diesen Jahres.
Mit leicht vergrößerter Pixel-Anzahl, derer 6 Millionen, und wenigen Digital-Zoom-Stufen Stufen mehr, kommt die Photosmart M525 daher. Ansonsten unterscheidet sich die Kamera nicht sehr vom kleinen Bruder der gleichen Serie. Dies zeigt auch die Verfügbarkeit gegen April 2006 und auch hier fehlen nich die Angaben zum Preis.
Immerhin ein 2 Zoll LCD und 16 MB großen internen Speicher kann die Photosmart M527 bieten. Ansonsten unterscheidet sich die M527 nur in einigen Details von der M525 und so überrascht auch der Termin für die Verfügbarkeit im April 2006 nicht.
Die Photosmart R727 und R927 gehören beide zur gleichen Serie, was auch die ähnlichen technischen Details verdeutlichen. Beide besitzen ein 2.5 Zoll Display, einen 3fachen optischen Zoom und verfügen über 6 bzw. 8.1 Megapixel. Der Preis beider Kameras ist noch unbekannt, erscheinen sollen sie im April diesen Jahres.
Mit der Photosmart R725 hat HP eine besonders kompakte digitale Kamera vorgestellt. Auch dem 2 Zoll großen Display können die mit Hilfe des 3fachen optischen Zoom und 6.2 Megapixel Sensors gemachten betrachtet werden. Auch hier darf mit der Verfügbarkeit im April gerechnet werden.
